The newest, latest, and greatest version of Tamagotchi, often called Tamagotchi V3 or Tamagotchi Version 3, has the following NEW features:
* Gotchi Point System: Players are awarded points at each stage of growth, and players earn points for playing games. Players can use points to purchase gifts for friends. It's a new, more interactive way to play!
* New Games: Three NEW games are included to play! A new game becomes available at each stage of development!
* Single Player or Double Player Games: In addition to the single player games, V3 comes with two-player games; there are six games in all!
* New Characters: Over 20 new characters are in the Version 3 family increasing the total number of characters to 52!
* Online Play: T3 Tamagotchi now have online compatibility at www.tamatown.com – get ready to enter “The World of Tamagotchi Town”! Fun awaits!
* Compatibility: Tamagotchi Version 3 is compatible with both Versions 1 and 2, so you can still talk to all your friends who have the older releases!
Tamagotchi is back and better than ever with more features, a larger display, better graphics, and the ability to make FRIENDS! Tamagotchi Connection owners care for a virtual pet --a Tamagotchi-- by selecting various controls to feed it food or snacks, play games with it, clean up after its messes and give it medicine when it becomes sick. Additionally, owners can communicate with their friends using Tamagotchi Connection’s improved and advanced communication functions. The infrared technology allows Tamagotchi Connection owners to “connect” with others and play games, give gifts, and become friends; Tamagotchi can also store up to 42 friends’ characters in its “Friend List” for future communications.
Tamagotchi Connection really simulates the life cycle of an actual pet, letting its owner experience the fun and responsibility of tending to a pet’s needs. Once an adult, the Tamagotchi can connect with a compatible Tamagotchi friend and have a second-generation Tamagotchi that the owner can care for and nurture into an adult to create more generations to come. The character you get is based on how well you care for your Tamagotchi, and you can actually raise several generations in one Tamagotchi with proper care and feeding. You can also play again and again with Tamagotchi and get a different character each time you play. And this new line of Tamagotchi has a great new element: a pause feature! Tamagotchi fans have requested this life-saving feature for their pets, and Bandai has incorporated it in this newest release!
Each Tamagotchi comes with a battery, so it can be played with right out of the package. Tamagotchi Connection is recommended for ages 8 and up, and both kids and adults love them!
