This kit is available in two identical versions. One is the standard kit, and one is the anniversary edition of the kit that contains bonus, optional clear parts that you may use on the kit if you'd like. If we happen to run out of this kit, the same kit may be available the other version. Please click HERE to see the other version.
This Gyan Master Grade release is part of Bandai's MG Clear Parts Campaign in celebration of Gundamís 30th Anniversary. Like other kits chosen for this special series, the model comes with optional clear parts for the areas shown in the photo above that allow the inner mechanics of the kit to be seen in detail. The optional, clear parts are included on one extra runner in the kit, and everything else on the kit remains the same as the kitís previous release. We have provided the description of the previous release for you below as a reminder of all that comes with the kit. Please note that the Clear Parts Campaign is a limited release; so once the kits in it are gone, they are gone!
Um, yay? A Master Grade... Gyan... Well, though the Gundam mopped the proverbial floor with it in the series, the MG kit itself is actually pretty impressive. It features the new version 2.0 frame designed by Bandai. The kit also comes with a gimmicky beam sabre that will light up with an LED (powered by a watch-type battery, not included), plus the shield, hide bomb, and all the other Gyan armament -- including a 1/20 scale unpainted figure of M'Quve.
Like all of the Bandai Master Grade model kits, this Gyan is completely snap-together with parts that are molded in color so no paint or glue is needed to complete it. The directions for the model do feature Japanese text, but they also have English lettered and numbered pictures that are very easy-to-follow. This Gyan Master Grade model kit is brand new, and all its parts are factory sealed by Bandai Japan.
