The following are store policies that our customers should be aware of:

1) Products Policy: All of our products are guaranteed to be authentic. We only sell items that come straight from the manufacturer's cases, and we do not offer any products of questionable country origin. Additionally, all products are insured when they are shipped. If any item arrives in other than excellent condition, please advise us immediately.

2) Privacy Policy: At Little Things Mean A Lot / Gundam Store and More, our customers' privacy is 100% protected. We do not sell, rent, loan, or transfer any personal information regarding our customers or their children to any third parties. Any information given to us is treated with the utmost security. We do release a customer's email address to two parties. First, when an order is placed, a customer's email address is released to Yahoo! so they can email an order confirmation. Second, UPS is given the email address so they can email a tracking number for the order. Both companies use email addresses for a one-time notification only, and guarantee that they will not sell a customer's email to any mailing list or use it for any marketing purpose; the address is used once and then purged from their system.

3) Credit Card Security Policy: We are very aware of how important it is to today's internet consumers to know their order information is "secure." That's why we use “Secure Socket Layers“ (“SSL,”) an advanced encryption technology that protects your credit card information. SSL encodes all ordering information, including your name, address and credit card number. It is only decoded for our company. No one else can ever read it. SSL is the industry's accepted, secure method for placing internet orders. There honestly is nothing to be worried about when paying with a credit card.

4) Payment Policy: We prefer credit cards and accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, or PayPal. Please note that we verify all billing addresses for credit cards, so be sure to include the correct address where your credit card/bank statements are mailed. Additionally, we will only ship to CONFIRMED addresses if you elect to pay with PayPal. We will also accept checks and money orders made payable to LITTLE THINGS MEAN A LOT. If you'd like to pay by check or money order, proceed through the site's checkout and elect to pay by the option: check/money order. Payments made by check or money order must be received within 7 days of the date of the order. Orders paid for by a money order will ship immediately; orders paid for by checks will be held 7-10 days while the check clears. A $25.00 service fee will be charged for any returned check. You can also feel free to call or fax us with an order.

5) Shipping Policy: We provide our customers with fast, safe, reliable shipping. Customers who are in the Ann Arbor, Michigan, area are also welcome to choose to have us hold their orders for pick-up. We ship orders via UPS or the USPS; all orders are insured and shipped in new, heavy-duty boxes. Any in stock item will be shipped from our warehouse within 2-3 business days and should reach its destination within 3-8 days. Please CLICK HERE to see when your order will arrive via UPS Ground.

Shipping Cost for UPS Ground: Our shipping costs are based on weight and will be displayed on our site when the customer enters the checkout process, before payment information is entered. The following is the table of the costs for UPS Ground Service:

From 00 lbs. the charge is $6.00
From 02 lbs. the charge is $7.50
From 05 lbs. the charge is $10.00
From 10 lbs. the charge is $12.50
From 15 lbs. the charge is $15.00
From 20 lbs. the charge is $17.50
From 25 lbs. the charge is $20.00
From 30 lbs. the charge is $22.50
*The cost continues to go up $2.50 for every additional 5 lbs.

Shipping Cost for Next Day Air Saver and 2Day Air: Our site displays the actual cost of these shipments during checkout. The rates vary based on your Zip Code and your package's weight; the site will calculate the cost for you and display it during checkout. Please note that Next Day Air Saver and 2Day Air shipments will ship the business day AFTER they are placed. Business Days are Monday through Friday.

Shipping Cost for Priority Mail: Priority Mail is only offered to PO Boxes, Military Addresses, AK, HI, and PR. The shipping cost for this service will be displayed upon checkout.

Shipping Cost for First Class Mail: Only two types of items can be packaged in bubble mailers and shipped via First Class Mail. They are paint markers and trading cards. The shipping cost for these items is $1 for the first item and $0.25 for each additional item for up to 10 items. The site will not charge accurate shipping on these items, so we will manually reduce the shipping on all orders for these items.

We no longer ship internationally or accept international orders. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

6) Parts Policy for Model Kit Orders: When orders are received, it is important that our customers inspect their models carefully. In the very rare event that there is a part that is missing or broken, we need to be notified immediately to discuss the situation. The entire model will have to be returned to us in the same condition it was sent. NO PARTS CAN BE CUT OFF OF ANY TREES! Once a part is cut from a tree, we have no way of knowing if the customer broke the part or the manufacturer. Therefore, if any part has been cut off of any tree on the model, we can no longer offer replacement parts for any reason. Unfortunately, some people took advantage of our liberal parts policy, and we had to institute a more strict one, like all of the other model kit stores.

7) Return Policy: Returns will not be given on items which were sold in closed packaging and were subsequently opened unless there is an obvious manufacturer's defect. A defective item must be returned within 7 days of the customer's receipt of the item, be insured by the carrier, and have a Return Authorization Number clearly written on the outside of the box. To obtain a Return Authorization Number, please call our store at 734-327-0173. Returned defective items must include all original packaging, printed materials, and accessories. In the event that the item returned is incomplete, a credit will not be issued. A copy of the original invoice/reciept must also be included along with a description of the problem with the merchandise. If the item does have a manufacturer's defect, we will offer a full replacement of the exact same item and ship it at no extra charge. In the event that we are out of stock of the item being returned, we will issue a store credit for the amount of the item, less the original shipping cost. All shipping costs and gift wrapping costs are non-refundable. Please Remember: All returns must be insured for safety and have a Return Authorization Number clearly written on the OUTSIDE of the box; if your return does not meet all of the above requirements, it will not be accepted.

Items that are not defective must be returned within 10 days of the customer's receipt of the items, be insured by the carrier, and have a Return Authorization Number clearly written on the outside of the box. Please remember that returns will not be given on items which were sold in closed packaging and were subsequently opened unless there is an obvious manufacturer's defect. To obtain a Return Authorization Number for a non-defective item, please call our store at 734-327-0173. Please note: We will charge a 20% re-stocking fee for any item returned to us that is not defective, which is a standard for our type of business. Since many of the products that we carry are considered collectibles, the overall value is determined by the condition of the product as a whole, including both the contents and the packaging. The customer is responsible for paying any and all shipping and insurance costs. Once the return is received, a store credit or refund will be issued for the merchandise, less the original shipping cost, the restocking fee, and the gift wrapping fee--if applicable. To use a store credit, simply call or email us to place your next order. Please Remember: All returns must be insured for safety and have a Return Authorization Number clearly written on the OUTSIDE of the box; if your return does not meet all of the above requirements, it will not be accepted.

Please Note: There are NO returns accepted on Bandai or Yamato Valkyries, Digi Makeover, Designer's World, Dream Life, Scamps, or Ben 10 Alien Labs per those items' description pages!

8) Pre-order Policy: We only allow customers to buy a product as a "pre-order" once we have ordered the product and it has been confirmed that we will be receiving it. Nevertheless, we cannot be held responsible for manufacturer's delays. We will post updates about the products on our site, and we will also email status updates to individuals who pre-order and provide us with an email address. When a pre-order is placed, the customer is charged for the item as we have real-time credit card processing. If a customer needs to cancel a pre-order, he or she will receive a credit less a 10% cancellation fee. A customer who places an order for both an in-stock item and a pre-ordered item will have the in-stock item held until the pre-order can be shipped, unless the customer would prefer to place each order separately and have two shipments sent to him/her at different times. (We will notify the customer if a situation like the previously mentioned one occurs.)

9) Pricing Policy: Our prices do occasionally change. We strive to have inventory on hand of the hottest toys, and to get the inventory we have to get our products from several different, highly reputable distributors. Sometimes if a product is exceptionally popular and we run out of it, we may have to fly stock over from Japan. In that case, we may have to adjust the selling price to make up for the added shipping. Additionally, once a product gets popular, sometimes our distributors begin to charge us more to get the product. We do everything in our power to keep the price down, but, unfortunately, we are victims of supply and demand. We pay any price to get our customers the products they are desperately searching for--especially at the holidays; nevertheless, sometimes our costs are high and we need to adjust our prices.

10) Future Email Policy: Our company may, on occasion, use our customer's email address to send them a brief email about special promotions or sales. If you do not want updates, please just let us know!
